The Clear Data application enables you to clear Interval, Time of Call, Daily Readings, Alarms, and Audit Trail data from an Account or a Remote Unit. You can also clear any of the above data from the entire system ("System Wide"). A periodic "clearing" of data can aid in maintaining a manageable amount of system data. For example: If you run reports at the end of each month to compare the present month's consumption with previous month's, you probably only need to maintain 3 month's of data online; therefore, at the end of every month you can clear the first month's data.
The Clear Data application can be Autoloaded; however, it is recommended that you Autoload a backup before a "clear" is Autoloaded.
Once you have clicked the Clear button, there is no way to undo the changes and recover the cleared data. You must be absolutely sure you want to clear the data!
