Setting Up Default Use and Search for options for Remote Unit Inputs


The Remote Unit Inputs Use and Search for options are provided wherever an Available Inputs list is displayed. You can use this powerful feature to search for and display particular Remote Units.

To set up the default Use and Search for options for Remote Unit Inputs:
  1. On the File menu, select Preferences.
    The Preferences tabs appear.
  2. Click the Input Selection tab.
  3. In the Use box, click the arrow and select the default Remote Unit Input field you wish to use.
  4. In the Search for box, enter the default search criteria you wish to use for Available Inputs lists.
  5. Click OK.
