Modifying Multiple Intervals or Daily Readings


You cannot modify multiple Time of Call readings! This task will show you how to modify multiple Intervals. If you wish to modify multiple Daily Readings, you must choose the Daily Reading option from the Data Type list in Step 5.
To modify multiple Intervals:
  1. Open the Data Viewer application.
  2. In the Available Accounts list, select the Account that retrieves Interval data you want to edit.
    To help you in finding a particular Account or related group of Accounts, you can setup and execute a search with the
          Search Engine utility.
  3. In the Account Members list, select the Account Member that retrieves the Interval data you want to edit.
    If you want to edit Interval data for all the Account Members, click the Select All button.
  4. Click and and specify the beginning date and time for the period over which to retrieve Interval data for editing (the end date and time is the present date).
  5. In the Data Type list, click the arrow and select Interval.
  6. Click .
    The "Interval" dialog box for the selected Account Member appears.
    If you chose to view Interval data for ALL the Account Members, (by clicking Select All), an "Interval" dialog box for each Account
      Member appears.
    If no Interval data is available, the following message appears in the title bar:
        "No Interval Data for [Remote Unit] [Remote Unit ID]"
    Click to view the Previous set of 60 Intervals and click to view the Next set of 60 Intervals. These options are also available on
      the View menu.

  7. Select the Intervals you want to edit, click the File menu, and click the, highlight the Change Value option.
    The Change Value for Intervals dialog box appears.
  8. In the Change to box, enter the new value for the intervals and then click OK.
    The Intervals you have changed are now preceded with check marks and are displayed in color you specified, on the Operational tab in system Preferences, for edited data.
  9. When you have finished editing: On the File menu, click Save.
    Your changes are saved to the database. If you want to view an updated Status column, click Refresh on the File menu.
