Clearing All Data in the System


Be absolutely sure you want to clear the data! Once you have initiated the clear process, there is no way to undo the changes and recover the cleared data.
To clear all data in the system:
  1. Open the Clear Data application.
  2. In the Available Images list, select the Image you want to use.
  3. Click the Edit Icon.
    The Edit Image dialog box appears.
  4. Click the What tab and under the Clear For group, select System-wide.
  5. Click the How tab and under the Data Types group, select the data type(s) to clear.
  6. Under Clear Mode, specify how you want to clear the data.
    If you want the Remote Unit that you are clearing to send all of their stored data on the next call, select the Forward option and the
          Set Command Control to SEND ALL DATA check box.
        Normal - Select this option to clear data "backwards" from a specified date.
        Forward - Select this option to clear data "forwards" from a specified date.
  7. In the Clear thru boxes - (if you specify a Normal clear) - or the Clear from boxes - (if you specify a Forward clear) - click the calenday and clock icons and specify the clear "end" or "start" date and time.
  8. Click Clear.
