The Periodic Autoload option is one of a group of Autoload options that enable you to run an Autoload at specific time intervals.
Some combinations of Report Period options, (under How) and Frequency options, (under When) are illogical. The following
procedure assumes you are using the "logical" combination.
To setup a "Periodic" Autoload:
- Open the Autoload Scheduler application.
- In the Applications Scheduled to Autoload list, select the applications for which you want to setup a "Periodic" Autoload.
- Click the Edit Icon.
The Setup Autoload dialog box appears.
- Under When:
In the Frequency box, click the arrow and select Periodic.
In the Next scheduled run date and time boxes, click the calendar and time buttons and specify the next time you want the Autoload
to run.
In the If Periodic: boxes, specify the day(s), hour(s), and minute(s) you want the Next Scheduled Run date and time to advance
after the Autoload is run.
- Under How:
In the Report period box, click the arrow and select Periodic.
In the Start date and time boxes, click the calendar and time buttons and specify the beginning of the report period.
In the Stop date and time boxes, click the calendar and time buttons and specify the end of the report period. Generally, this should be
specified as one hour from the Start date.
In the If Periodic: boxes, specify the day(s), hour(s), and minute(s) you want the Start and Stop boxes to advance after the Autoload
is run.
- Click OK.
Result: The Autoload report will run every two days and will display two days of data at its next scheduled run time.
