Customizing a Hardware Alarm Description

1. Open the Vectron Configuration application.
2. In the Available Remote Units list, select the Remote Unit in which the hardware alarm you want to customize is located.
   Use the Search Engine Utility to find a particular Remote Unit or group of related Remote Units.
3. Click the Edit Icon.
   The Vectron Remote Unit Setup dialog box appears.
4. Click the Alarm Information tab.
5. In the Harware alarm list, select the alarm you want to customize.
   The default desription for the selected alarm is displayed in the box under Alarm Specification.
6. In the box under Available alarm user descriptions, enter your own custom description or select one from the list of avialable user descriptions located below the box.
7. Click the Apply button.
   Your custom description is now displayed in the User Description column next to the Default column description for the selected hardware alarm.
