Adding an Electronic Communications Index

To add a new Electronic Communications Index to the system:
  1. Open the Sensus Configuration application.
  2. In the Available Sensus Meter Interface Units list, select the Meter Interface Unit to which you wish to add an Electronic Communications Index.
  3. Click the Edit Icon.
  4. Click the Input Configuratin tab.
  5. Make a choice of configuration: (Manual, Auto Config, Reconfig):
    Manual Configuration
        Press the Add button.
        The input will be placed in the first available input number.
        The Input Configuration dialog box appears.
        You must enter all the data on the new device.
    Auto Configuration
        The system will add any new inputs found.
    Reconfiguration
        The system deteles ALL current inputs and then does an Auto Configuration.
        This deletes all packed interval records.
  6. Click OK.
